Our Hygienist at work, Michelle Skurka, just made her first quilt! I had fun quilting it for her before Christmas and little Makena sure looks adorable wrapped in it! I used a silver cotton thread and replicated the large floral design in the quilting. It only really shows on the dark purple bits and actually helps them blend with the rest of the quilt. Michelle used the polka dot fabric for the backing and the dark purple for the quilt binding. It turned out lovely!
