  2. Interesting fabric collection. My youngest sister got me started quilting about 7 years ago, when she wanted us (four sisters) to do a round robin. We're still quilting together, though we live in 4 different states. Thanks.

  6. I've been quilting about a year. Regular quilts are beautiful but didn't take my breath away like a modern quilt. I saw one I loved and wanted to make it myself.

  7. When I was ten years old in the 1962, I asked all my neighbors for fabric and my mom taught me to hand sew a Nine Patch Block. Mom helped me put all the blocks together and Dad built a quilt frame. The best part is the whole family helped quilt, including my 2 older brothers. Lots of sore fingers later, we had a finished quilt and the best part is that I still have it today. Good memories!!

  15. i always wanted to learn to sew..at almost 60, i started taking classes and lessons..i am so grateful to the on-line tutorials and videos..i have learned the most from them..love tula pinks designs, i saw her on Art Quilting ..

  16. My next oldest sister twisted my arm to take a Quilt as You Go class w/her in 2009 and it's been 5 1/2 years and I've not stopped ! Actually our inspiration comes from two of our Aunties

  29. I have been quilting for a year, I got started when I went to a fabric store and saw all the fabrics. I loved the color and textures . I wanted to try and learn so I researched everything I could on the internet then bought a machine and started. I really enjoy it
